MY LOYAL FRIEND – Head of a German Shepherd

This sculpture of a German Shepherd was based on a lovely dog which had been rescued at an early age.  His eyes says it all to me…..and over the months that I sculpted this lovely head of german shepherd, I was struck with his understanding of respect and calm – his face was very distinguished without being arrogant, kind without being soppy.  This dog would remain with you through thick and thin….and hopefully I have managed to capture all this in this face of a German Shepherd, in his latter years.

The bronze sculpture is looking up, with his head tilted to one side and looks great on a side board, or it could be positioned outside in a small courtyard.  This is a lifesize sculpture.
